Senior Session Packages

Read the information about Mini Yearbook Picture appointments to determine if this type of session is what you want. It is a smaller and quicker session at Beaver Lake Park and you get 2 digital images. A full photo session is at your choice of location and you will get a minimum of 7 digital images and prints.

I have designed all Senior Session Packages to include the session fee, + the submission of your yearbook picture to your school, + plus digital images so you can use/print/share as you need, + prints.

The Basic and Basic Plus Packages come with 5x7 prints. Other Packages have Print Credits so you can get mix and match the size of prints or books, albums you would like.  I have a Print Credit Worksheet which will help you organize and get the prints in the sizes you want and what works best for your family to preserve these special memories.

You can add to these Packages (extra prints, books, albums etc..), but you don't have to. Each Package gives you fully edited digital images, ready for anything you want to use them for, and prints to display and gift. The Packages are your best value and you know exactly what your cost is. 

Most sessions last between 1 - 3 hours depending on the locations and number of clothing changes. Sessions are held at your choice of location ~ your home with your pets, local parks, a sandy beach with a dock, a grassy field, views of the snow-capped mountains, an old bridge, a walking trail through the PNW woods, botanical gardens, University campus, an urban or smalltown downtown area, your favorite coffee shop, a view to show off your car ~ locations are limited to our imagination! We live in an amazing area for outdoor locations. We can chat about fun places to go that will suit your style. I have some great spots that I like to shoot at, but I love to hear your ideas too. One reason why Seniors use me for their sessions is my love of capturing them in the environment they choose.

A short Family Session can be added to any Senior Session. It's a great time to update your Family pictures while your Senior is picture-ready. It is an additional $100 added to the Senior Package price and you order the Family Pictures within that same package. No need to do anything separately. This is a very popular option! When you use the online booking calendar, you can add the Family Session as an option. I'll guide you through the rest of the planning (when and where the rest of the family can join the session)

Once you have booked a date for your photo session, we will begin to chat about location. I am an on-location photographer, which means I go to you: your house for pictures with your dog; a Bellevue beach for walking and splashing in the water; Beaver Lake Park with beautiful tall trees and a lake for a natural look; downtown Seattle or smalltown Issaquah or North Bend and a coffee shop for an urban feel; a mountain trail leading to the Snoqualmie River with trees, moss, rocks and the Pacific Northwest beauty to show off your love of hiking; the local park where you always hang out with your friends; outside Lumen Field wearing your Seahawks fan gear; a back-country road to show off your car; Bellevue Botanical Gardens with beautiful, colorful flowers, paths & views; a grassy field in Snoqualmie surrounded by the snow-capped mountains, ..... Some of these locations can be combined and others will give an entire session with tons of variety in the one location.

You can see most of these examples in my portfolio galleries, on the home pages of both my websites, and I also have a Locations Gallery that I will share the link with you when you book your date. We can have a conversation by email, text, telephone or in person ~ we should talk before your session. I like to set the location and exact start time of the session about 4-7 days prior to our date. So when you book your date, you don't need to have decided on your location(s). We will work towards that as your date comes closer.

My backdrops are the natural beauty of Washington and Oregon. Different locations look better and have better light at different times of day, so I may have suggestions for you regarding location and times. I love natural light and will always search out the best natural light but I do use an off-camera lighting system so can shoot anywhere in most any light condition. Most of my sessions will take place in the morning or late afternoon.  Late afternoon has the prettiest light which I love to shoot in. If you see a picture in my galleries that you especially like, just ask me and I can tell you the location, time of year and time of day it was taken.

Sessions usually last 1-3 hours, depending on the number of locations, distance between locations, how many breaks we need to take and number of clothing changes. If you want multiple locations, they should be close together. You don't want to waste your time with me in the car traveling between places, dealing with traffic, parking issues and losing the flow and fun of the session. Let me know your thoughts of locations if you want multiple places, and I can suggest close-by spots that will work well for the look/feel you want. Traveling from Seattle to Snoqualmie in one session just doesn't work well. If you really want multiple locations, different seasons and different looks/feels consider the I Want Them All Package and we can do more than one session and you will get exactly what you want.

I do not rush sessions and will keep taking pictures right until the very end. Sometimes the last picture is the best one. Please take a look at the Senior Session Packages as there are different prices/packages depending on the number of locations for the session and the number of clothing changes. I have designed these packages over the years of experience knowing how many images work best with the number of locations and clothing changes.

I have moved to Central Oregon as of May 2023. I will be back in the Sammamish area for 2 different weeks during the summer/fall 2023. I will be located near Bend, Oregon and would love to shoot Seniors in that beautiful area too!

I have done sessions all around Sammamish & Issaquah, Redmond, Fall City, Carnation, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Bellevue, Snoqualmie, North Bend, Seattle, Alki Beach, Gas Works Park.... Your favorite location may become mine too. Make sure you have read my policies regarding certain locations and the minimum Senior Session Package that goes with them. The Basic Package cannot be ordered for certain locations. I do enforce minimum package requirements.

Some locations will have an additional use fee. I know which locations have fees/permit/booking requirements and will let you know. You are responsible for any fees and I can usually make arrangements, book dates or complete permit paperwork.

After your session, I will individually proof all the best images and a few will be fully edited at that time. I upload your images to an online gallery for you to view. The gallery will be ready in 7-21 days. I will notify you of your gallery being ready by email or telephone. Your personal gallery is password-protected so you can share it with your friends and family but know that your images are secure.

We can have an in-person, Zoom, or telephone order meeting after you have viewed your images. I will contact you about a week after you receive your gallery information to set up an appointment.
